Make a Difference in East Boise County
East Boise County EMS District (EBCED) is more than an ambulance service, it’s a lifeline to our remote mountain communities. We are dedicated to providing reliable, compassionate emergency medical services to the residents and visitors of East Boise County. We are building a stronger, community-based EMS model, and we want you to be part of it.
Why Join EBCED?
Community Impact: Your presence on shift could be the difference between life and death for someone in need. When we’re not staffed, our community feels it.
Team Dedication: Our crew goes above and beyond to keep this ambulance running, often sacrificing time and energy to fill in where coverage is thin.
Leadership Opportunities: We’re proud of our team members who step up into leadership roles and continue advancing in their EMS careers. We support growth and leadership from within.
Our Challenges – And Your Opportunity
Like many rural EMS agencies, we face serious staffing challenges and burnout. That’s why we’ve reached out to state EMS leadership to explore every option to keep this service operational. Our future depends on committed people stepping up to serve.
This is why we have formed the new East Boise County EMS District (EBCED)—a vital step to ensure long-term stability with a Governing Board and team that cares. Your involvement now could help shape the future of EMS in our region.
