Today’s training was all about getting hands-on and trauma-season ready! We had a great session focused on splinting—an essential skill for any EMS provider. We compared the spread and accuracy of two traction splints: the Segar and the Slishman. It was a valuable opportunity to test out the gear, troubleshoot real-world scenarios, and sharpen our technique. We also practiced splinting various extremities, ensuring we’re well-prepared to provide the best possible care when trauma calls come in. Great work, team—let’s keep the momentum going!
